- PlaNet Finance won the Hedge Funds World Middle East Charity Award 2007
- Sponsored by Man Investment and Therapinn, the Hedge Fund World Middle East Awards are held in Dubai, March 6th 2007. PlaNet Finance UAE has been selected to receive the annual Charity Award and will present its activities to the major Investment Funds of the MENA region.

- Pr. Muhammad Yunus meets PlaNet Finance UAE's Board of Directors in Dubai
- Pr. Muhammad Yunus, 2006 Peace Nobel Prize and President of PlaNet Finance's Board of Trustees, visited the UAE on 23rd February 2007. PlaNet Finance UAE organized a meeting between Pr. Muhammad Yunus and PlaNet Finance UAE's Board of Directors, composed by Sheikh Sultan Al Qasimi, Mr. Tawhid Abdullah and Mr. Saad Abdul Latif.
