Organization
PlaNet Finance Middle East manages microfinance programs in many countries of the region : Egypt, Oman, Bahrain, Syria, Palestinan Territories... Planet Finance Middle East is composed of 4 permanent offices:
- PlaNet Finance Egypt: This office is the coordinating office for PlaNet Finance Middle East activities and is dedicated to the development of microfinance sector in Egypt. It also aims at developing a range of expertise in the region.
- PlaNet Finance UAE: The office is in charge of fundraising and awareness programs for the development of the microfinance sector in the region. It aims to further develop microfinance in the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) countries. The UAE office recently played an important role in the expansion of PF projects to Oman and Bahrain.
- PlaNet Finance Syria: This office is dedicated to the development of the emerging microfinance sector in Syria. Currenlty, the office is working on developing a two year project focusing on providing financial services in the rural areas.
- PlaNet Finance Palestinian Territories: This office is dedicated to the development of microfinance program in the Palestinian Territories, with specific political and economic conditions.
